Tidus yawned sleepily but was determined to stay awake. He knew the fun stuff always happened when he went to bed and didn’t want to go just yet, though as he sat there, his eyes began falling closed.

“Hey kid. Why ain’t you in bed?” Jecht crossed his arms, staring down the boy in front of him. “Ya need ta sleep some.” 

The boy shook his head quickly and rubbed his eyes. “I’m not tired!” He mumbled with a pout looking up at his dad.

Tidus gave a giggle and he beckoned the older male to move down to his level. “Silly puppy.” He said with a grin before placing a cute kiss on Zack’s ‘X’.

• Tidus has an ‘X’ scar in Kingdom Hearts, and though I am in the FF Verse, I am keeping it in his headcannon. I’m just saying that it faded away as he got older.

  “Heh, well would you look at that.”Zack grinned and looked to the similar scar that was engraved into the young blonde’s cheek. I knew this kid seemed familiar. “Well Tidus, the name’s Zack! It’s nice to meet you.~”

“Zack!” He smiled widely and nodded. “It’s nice to meet you too.” He paused for a moment and looked around, as if looking for something, than lifted his head again to look at him. “Good… monsters have been after me all day…”

  “…” The raven looked down to the small blonde, a dark brow arching up in question— The child looked vaguely familiar, but he couldn’t pinpoint exactly who this boy reminded him of. “Oh— Hey, kid.”

The blonde raised his hand, pointing to the scar on the others cheek, than he lowered it, pointing at his own. “Matching!” He said with a giggle. “I’m Tidus.”

“Practicing Blitz!” He said enthusiastically.
